Results are presented on the two-frequency radio occultation of the Venus daytime ionosphere carried out by means of Venera 9 and 10. Thirteen height profiles of electron density were obtained for solar zenith angles in the range 10-87 deg. Depending on solar zenith angle, the electron density, in the main maximum at heights of 140-150 km, varies from 500,000 to 140,000 per cu cm. A regular dependence of the upper boundary of the daytime ionosphere on solar zenith angle has been found.
