Scientific paper

Results of a global helioseismic structrual inversion with SOHO MDI data
are reported, obtained with a new iterative technique which is briefly
described. The technique uses the method of differential response
(Vorontsov 1998), and the adaptive regularization technique (Strakhov
and Vorontsov 2001) for the numerical solution of the inverse problem.
