Numerical solutions for the nonlinear integral equations of the brightness coefficients of scattered radiation are obtained. The calculated intensity of radiation reflected from a semiinfinite atmosphere in the case of indicatrices with various degrees of elongation and phase angles near zero is reported. Ambiguities in the interpretation of relative and absolute photometric observations are considered. Estimates of the optical characteristics of the Jovian atmosphere are reached via a comparison of theory and experiment.
