Micrometeoroids: Models

Scientific paper

Study of the morphology of individual impact craters on surfaces of the Long Duration Exposure Facility provides a method for determination of the direction of the impacting particle. The authors describe a classification of craters suitable for such a study, models of the interplanetary and space debris directional fluxes for their interpretation, and present some results for surfaces on the Space face of LDEF.
