Phase differences in geomagnetic micropulsation signals perceived at different locations are examined in the light of hydromagnetic theory. Structure present near resonance is found in agreement with theory when ionospheric effects are taken into cognizance. Phase difference measurements between stations agreeing with or directed opposite to energy flux can be used to identify sources, and provide information on the magnetosphere wave structure.
