We present here a model of the nucleus of Jupiterfamily comet (JFC) 22P/Kopff and its activity, based on a quasi-3D thermal modeling approach. The basic model and its variations were fitted to the dust activity observed on 22P/Kopff, and analyzed through the Finson-Probstein dust-dynamical modeling technique. Combining the existing observations and two distinct modeling approaches gives insight into the structure of the sub-surface layers of the nucleus and ability to constrain some of the unknown internal physical characteristics.
