A low constituent number scheme based on the nontrivial gluon string
splitting (the Zip--model) is shown to yield a substantial intermittency for
soft hadronic processes. With a simplest addition of the Bose--Einstein
correlations the remarkable agreement with the NA22 experimental data on
rapidity factorial moments is reached.
