Laboratory experiments to study interaction of highly supersonic (M 20) radiative plasma jets with different plasma objects will be presented. The jets are produced using precursor plasma flow in conical wire array Z-pinches. The dimensionless parameters of these jets are similar to those for astrophysical proto-stellar jets. Target plasma objects were formed by radiative ablation of plastic foils or by photoionisation of gas clouds. In experiments with compact plasma targets, a collisionless deflection of the jet by density gradients was observed. Experimental configurations, which should allow the formation of a jet with angular momentum, will be discussed.
