It is shown that scalar particles which collide with a strong Peres gravitational wave necessarily change the direction of their propagation. In addition, a reflection effect is observed which consists in the fact that the scalar particles do not penetrate beyond a certain completely determined propagation front of the gravitational wave. In any case, however, the reflection does not occur at the leading front of wave propagation.
