Shabanskii (1961) and Alekseev (1970) have analyzed the interaction of fast particles with a transverse shock front and in the case of an arbitrary inclination of the lines of force to the front, respectively. In the present paper, their results are applied to the interaction between a shock wave propagating in a turbulent medium and an ensemble of particles described by a weakly anisotropic distribution function. The kinematic coefficients, averaged with respect to the pitch angle, are calculated, along with the energy increase of a fast particle at the shock front. The coefficients obtained are used to formulate the boundary conditions for the particle concentration at the front.
