Measurements of variations of integral electron density in the solar wind were measured on the communication path between the Venera 9 and 10 probes and the earth by onboard interferometers operating at wavelengths of 32 cm and 8 cm. A solar wind inhomogeneity with a time scale of 0.5 sec to 4000 sec was recorded. A high correlation of integral electron density variations was found for two communication paths spaced 10,000 km apart; and the transverse velocity of the inhomogeneities was investigated.
