A nonfocusing telescope is described which achieves collimated output flux with a defined range of acceptance angles. The telescope consists of two paraboloids of revolution mounted such that their focal points and axes of revolution coincide, with their cones opposite to each other. The telescope has multispectral applications including X-ray spectroscopy and astronomy, and IR and XUV spectroscopy (e.g., airglow measurements).
