Using an aperture synthesis technique, the position of the soft gamma-ray repeater SGR 1900+14 has been found consistent with that of a ROSAT X-ray object which is itself coincident with an IRAS infrared point source. On 9 July 1995 we observed the IRAS source and neighboring regions in the near infrared using the Cassegrain IR camera on the Mt. Palomar 5-meter Hale telescope. Preliminary analysis shows two distinct objects of roughly equal intensity and similar spectral shape coincident with the IRAS source, confirming other recent observations. The two components are separated by 3.37'' and are clearly seen and well resolved in the J, H, and Ks bands. Deep exposures of the region show hints of faint nebulosity near these two bright objects.
