The influence of lateral and lifting aerodynamic forces on the center of gravity path of a reentry vehicle is analyzed. The formulas derived can be used to evaluate quantitatively the action of these forces and to determine the heights at which this action is significant. The statistical characteristics of the principal parameters (the steady deviation and the height at which this deviation starts) defining the center of gravity path under the action of lateral and lifting forces are studied.
