A theoretical study is presented of the induction of currents on the surface of a conducting body moving in the ionospheric plasma. The characteristics of interaction are investigated, including the force of induction braking, variations in the structure of the disturbed region, the occurrence of magnetic disturbances, and the occurrence of an additional resistance force (which, under certain conditions, can exceed the force of hydrodynamic resistance).
