The Mars In-situ-propellant-production Precursor (MIP) Flight
Demonstration is a payload onboard the MARS SURVEYOR 2001 Lander. MIP
will demonstrate the production of propellant-grade oxygen using martian
atmospheric CO2 as feedstock.
