In this paper we study the renormalization effects of the Higgs self-coupling in a five dimensional model where the boson fields are propagating in the bulk whilst the matter fields are localized to the brane. Utilising recent LHC bounds on the Higgs mass we find, contrary to the results of the Standard Model and five dimensional Universal Extra Dimension model (where the Higgs self-coupling evolution develops a zero value destabilising the vacuum), that in this scenario we have an improved vacuum stability condition and the Higgs self-coupling evolves towards finite values from the electroweak scale up to the gauge unification scale.
