The modified Thomas-Fermi equation of a degenerate self-gravitating
fermion gas in the presence of a non-vanishing cosmological constant is
studied. A restrictive relation between the mass of the bound cluster
and the value of the cosmological constant is obtained for a given
fermion mass.
