We have an ongoing programme using Mopra molecular line data to investigate the role played by turbulence in triggering and regulating star formation in the G333 giant molecular cloud. To make a comprehensive assessment of this role, we also require information on the feedback effect of YSOs and UCHII regions within the cloud. We have selected 6 bright molecular regions in the Mopra data, 4 of which are associated with bipolar molecular outflows and all of which that are associated with UCHII regions, to image in radio continuum in order to pin down the characteristics of the ionized regions and the ionizing sources at high resolution. We also propose to observe a recombination line of hydrogen, to obtain the kinematics of the outflows from the UCHII regions and investigate the driving of the molecular outflows. This is part of a multi-wavelength, international campaign to study star formation in the G333 cloud and provide benchmarking observational constraints on the role played by turbulence in this process.
