With the Terek telescope, normal-incidence multilayer mirrors in conjunction with CCD-based imaging detectors were used for imaging in the He II resonance line (304 A) and the Fe IX-XI ion lines (170-180 A). Traditional grazing-incidence optics were used for imaging in the 5-25-A range. During the operation of the spacecraft, 140 X-ray images of the sun were obtained with an angular resolution up to 15 arcsec.
