In this study, errors in cloud base height predicted by two numerical
weather prediction models is evaluated using observations from the
French instrumented site SIRTA. Results show that a significant portion
of the error is due to errors in predicted surface relative humidity.
These errors are in turn thought to be caused by the convection schemes.
