Scientific paper
Spectral observations of the supposed cataclysmic variable I0 And have
shown that it is a quasar with z = 0.134. Some of its characteristics
resemble bright Seyfert I type nuclei. Radio- and X-luminosity estimates
do not make it possible to ascribe I0 And to blasars, though a spectral
and photometric variability in optics is possible.
