Scientific paper

Numerical simulation on the basis of the modulation equation is used to
investigate hysteresis phenomena in the modulation of galactic cosmic
rays. It is shown that these phenomena can be explained by
nonstationarity in the modulation and by possible changes in the cutoff
rigidity.
