Finding relevant data for heliospheric and magnetospheric studies is often a difficult, time consuming task, not even mentioning the effort spent on understanding the data due to different standards for data formats, access and documentation. The recent advent of new distributed environments called Virtual Observatories promises to provide the researchers with easier and standardized data discovery and search environment while giving the data providers and opportunity of wider use of their products. The Virtual Heliospheric and Magnetospheric Observatories (VHO and VMO) focus on enabling access and smart search capability for heliospheric and magnetospheric data sets. This contribution outlines the design of the VHO and VMO but focuses on the benefits these observatories provide to end users and data providers.Future integration of the VxOs will be also discussed.
