The abundances of trace elements (particularly REEs) in two whole-rock fragments, two lithic fragments, and three chondrules of the Hedjaz (L3) chondrite were determined using the Nakamura et al. (1989) direct-loading mass spectrometric isotope dilution (MSID) technique together with conventional MSID analyses. Results demonstrated the presence of impact-related products with highly fractionated REE components in chondritic breccia, indicating the existence of physicochemical conditions in the formation of chondrules, clasts, and their precursors, which are related to those of CAI.
