We will observe HD 195965 with STIS at high resolution to determine the velocity structure and abundances of the interstellar gas along the sight line. The object has been observed with FUSE, and we seek to understand the detailed nature of the ISM to gain insight into the D/H ratio along the sight line. The high resolution STIS data are critical for modeling the velocity structure of the absorption profiles. The setups chosen cover the important interstellar metal lines as well as H I Lyman-alpha. The object is too bright to observe with the G140M grating.
