This is a proposal to continue high-resolution millimeter imaging of eta Carinae. In 2003 we carried out pioneering observations of eta Car at millimeter wavelengths on either side of periastron that proved that the remarkable recombination line maser in the system is not located in the wind of either the luminous blue variable primary or its unseen hot companion. 12 mm images continue to reveal previously unseen structures. In 2005 we successfully carried out some of the first 3 mm observations in the southern hemisphere with 3 km baselines, and demonstrated that the source is resolved. This is confirmed by the 2006 observation. We request tracks to continue to watch the spatial distribution of ionized gas evolve as the system moves away from apastron, and to identify features in the radio emission with known features in the outflow from the system.
