The authors present high spectral resolution CCD observations of the λ0.9 - 1.1 μm wavelength region in four Seyfert galaxies. Emission-line profiles of He II λ10124 Å, He I λ10830 Å and [S III] λλ9069, 9532 Å are presented for NGC 4151, and those of the [S III] lines for the other three targets. These pilot observations demonstrate the feasibility of using a CCD to record spectra of these galaxies in the wavelength region of the He and S lines with exposure times of 1000 s.
