The present paper describes a program at the Mt. John University Observatory whose purpose is to monitor the radial velocities of 29 bright southern solar-type dwarfs at about monthly intervals in order to search for low-amplitude periodic variations. The use of a fiber-feed between the telescope and echelle spectrograph enables a stability allowing a precision of better than 50 m/s. Observations of 29 southern solar-type stars are reported.
