Scientific paper

High-precision positions of 560 stars in the central part of the
Praesepe region are given, which based on the FK5 system and related to
the J2000.0 equator and equinox, with the mean observational epoch being
about J1986.17 and the standard errors in each direction +/- 10
approximately 50 mas.
