Electromagnetic field propagation in an expanding universe taking into account the coupling with the Dirac field is considered. One looks for a phenomenon similar to Delbrück scattering; the qualitative nature of it is studied using some simplifying assumptions. The possible usefulness of this scattering is discussed though it is exceedingly small in most cases.
