Five-minute data from the Alma-Ata high-altitude neutron monitor are examined for cases of the detection of high-energy solar cosmic rays (SCRs). Eight cases of intensity increase during solar proton events with amplitudes of 0.4-2.0 percent were found. Time variations of intensity are evaluated for the events of May 7, 1978 and Dec. 7-8, 1982. Integral SCR fluxes are calculated for three cases.
