Result of experimental investigations of e-beam sustained high-repetition rate CO2-laser are presented. This type of laser sources is known to have unique capability of high average power beam production (in our case it is in the range from several hundred Watts up to one hundred kiloWatts). Typically, pulse duration is shoter than the pause between successive pulses by the factor of a few thousand. Thus, the pulse pick power is significant higher than the average output power. The general characteristics of this laser are given. The possibility of this laser used for acceleration of various targets in the technology ``Lightcraft'' is discussed.
