We describe our High Dynamic Range Imaging developments at Laboratoire Universitaire d'Astrophysique de Nice (LUAN) based on laboratory and on-sky testbeds. They essentially concern the commissioning of an Achromatic Phase-Knife Coronagraph (APKC) for Dome C of Antarctica and tests of a Prolate Apodized Lyot Coronagraph as an option for the VLT Â Planet Finder instrument with both approaches in an End-to-End laboratory experiments.
