High 10Be contents were found in carbon-rich fractions of
meteorites, Landes (iron, IA) and Y790981 (Ureilite), by the AMS
measurement using the tandem accelerator of the University of Tokyo. The
10Be production rate in carbon of Landes was estimated to be
about 140 dpm/kg, which is 6 to 7 times higher than that in stone.
