Data collected with the ALEPH detector at centre-of-mass energies between 130
and 189 GeV are used to search for Higgs bosons of the standard model and its
supersymmetric extensions. No evidence for a Higgs particle has been found in
256 pb^-1 of LEP2 data. Mass exclusion limits were set.
