Differences are observed in the frequency distribution of levels of geomagnetic and ionospheric disturbance in generalized intervals: the odd-even and even-odd 11-year cycles of solar activity. In addition, differences are detected in the main geoeffective parameters of the interplanetary medium before and after the polarity reversal of the general solar magnetic field in the 20th cycle. Attention is given to the degree of the influence of variations of these parameters on variations of the Kp-index distribution function.
