A new accelerator facility RI Beam Factory (RIBF) will be operated in
2006 at RIKEN. The capability of the RIBF enables us to study the
neutron-rich nuclei near the drip-line. New beta-ray detection system is
under the development for systematic study of half-lives of nuclei
related to r-process.
