The Hagedorn equation of state of dense matter in a strong external magnetic field is obtained on the basis of the particle mass function. Numerical calculations are performed for a cutoff mass of 1200 MeV, results are presented for pressure and energy density as functions of temperature and magnetic-field strength, and the pressure-temperature-magnetic-field-strength surface is plotted. Ordering effects of the magnetic field are discussed.
