Pioneer-Venus net-flux measurements are used to determine vertical
distributions of H2O for two sounding regions: the northern probe (59.3
deg; 4.8 deg) and the nighttime probe (28.7 deg; 56.7 deg). It is shown
that the H2O vapor content is concentrated in the 20-48 km layer and
depends on the time and place of measurement.
