Scans of H-alpha and the N II 6584 A forbidden line were obtained in directions toward 13 O stars that have galactic latitudes greater than 10 deg, and z distances between 60 pc and 1000 pc. The associated H II regions have emission measures that range from 500/cm to the 6th pc to less than 2/cm to the 6th pc, and radii that extend from about 20 pc to more than 200 pc from the star. The derived rms electron densities for these regions range from about 3/cu cm for absolute z values lower than 100 pc to less than 0.1/cu cm for absolute z values greater than 600 pc.
