The results of H-alpha emission line observations in the spectrum of RY Tau carried out during December 1984-January 1985 are presented. Variability is found in the values for the equivalent widths, violet emission-component intensities, central-absorption radial velocities, and violet-to-red emission-component intensity ratios. The observations, carried out during increased stellar brightness, revealed the same types of H-alpha emission lines in the RY Tau spectrum as those observed during periods of low stellar brightness. It is concluded that the nature of the dynamic phenomena in the envelope did not change after the RY Tau 'flare' at the end of 1983 and beginning of 1984.
