In the frame of the French Multipartnership (Alcatel Space Industries,
ASTRIUM, THALES, EADS-LV) chaired by CNES, a working group has been
formed to produce guidelines on commercial parts. Those guidelines give
methodology for selection, procurement and use. This paper describes the
methodology and gives a status on guideline elaboration progress.
