In the present paper, analytical relations are analyzed which describe the trajectory and energy characteristics of guidance methods based on Legostaev and Raushenbach's (1969) docking technique. The conditions for determining the optimal parameters required for performing the desired maneuver are examined, along with the combined use of impulsive and continuous control to achieve quasi-optimal docking.
