A short summary of the present activities related to the ground support for COROT from OSN is given. These activities include: a) Stromgren photometry together with Ca II narrow line photometry of the secondary targets of the COROT catalogue, b) checking for photometric variability of some stars suspected to show line profile variations, c) a report on the discovery of a new fast rotator delta Scuti, d) some photometric tests using beta photometry in order to detect solar-like oscillations and finally e) a transit of a planet around the star HD209458.
