A numerical hydrodynamic model is peresnted which describes the global distribution of the densities, velocities, and temperatures of neutral and charged particles as well as electric fields of magnetopsheric and thermospheric origin at heights from 80 km to 15 earth radii. Calculation results are obtained for quiet equinox conditions at solar minimum; even relatively weak electric fields are shown to have a considerable effect on the global structure of thermospheric circulation and the distribution of electron density in the F2-region and in the protonosphere.
