The Naval Research Laboratory has developed a comprehensive, self-consistent global model of equatorial bubble evolution based the ionosphere model SAMI3. The model is unique in that it captures the electrodynamics of the global dynamo system as well as that of equatorial plasma bubbles on a much smaller scale (10s km). We report results of multi-ion dynamics, ion and electron temperature evolution, and the impact of neutral winds on bubble onset and development. Model results will be compared to observational data.
