A model of the Martian surface structure is outlined, presenting estimations concerning Martian planetary evolution based on the Stevenson (1980, 1981) mechanism of core formation. The features of the model are discussed and stages of Martian evolution are illustrated. It is suggested that this model can explain the observed asymmetric structure of the Martian surface as a consequence of internal processes of core formation and evolution of the inner structures.
