The high temperature behaviour of global and gauge symmetries in supersymmetric theories is studied. It is shown that the definitive restoration of both kinds of symmetries occurs, for a sufficiently high T. Nevertheless models exist which show an intermediate T breaking of some symmetry which is conserved in both the T = 0 and T = ∞ limits. An alternative cosmological scenario is then suggested.
