Measurements of the terrestrial atmospheric pressure field during sporadic geomagnetic disturbances are analyzed statistically. Mean squares of the diurnal pressure differences (D) over the oceans and continents at midlatitudes in the Northern Hemisphere are used as the index of the pressure-field variations. Estimates show that the effect of solar-atmospheric relations, which involves an increase in D four days after strong sporadic disturbances, is most clearly manifested over the oceans. A significant difference in the behavior of the pressure values and the square of the rate of pressure variation is noted.
